It is actively used at an unprecedented scale: in over 95% of US schools, reaching ~51 million children in ~180 countries, all built by a team of 65 people and growing quickly. 

Role Summary

We hire for talent density. Our team comprises the most talented, entrepreneurial, and innovative teammates from around the world, with deep backgrounds in education and large scale consumer internet. Significant product and adoption and revenue growth is driving the need to scale the company quickly. We’re looking for a senior leader to help us double the size of the company each of the next several years, take our brand to the next level as a household name, and lead a talented team of high performing recruiters.

You will:

Lead and grow a world class talent team through incredible scale as we double the size of the company YoY

Systematically make hiring fast and sustainable (ie, increasing pass-through rates and decreasing time to fill on historically difficult roles)

Build the talent brand for ClassDojo so that we become the company of choice for top talent 

Act as strategic advisor on all things talent related to CEO, hiring managers, and executive team 

You are:

A structured analytical problem-solver with the ability to disaggregate complex problems, synthesize large amounts of quantitative and qualitative data into simple, actionable strategies

A strong cross-functional collaborator and thought partner, especially with product, engineering and marketing

An effective communicator: clear, concise written + verbal communication

Accustomed to moving fast: an instigator that raises the bar for speed of experimentation and results

Efficient: you know what metrics to focus on to optimize conversion rates, interviewer time, and process improvement 

You have experience in:

Hands-on building Product, Engineering, Design (PED) talent engines in a consumer technology company (reputed with a high talent bar)

Scaling a company: specifically the curve from early days (~50 -> 500)

Building high quality talent pipelines across functions and levels of seniority 

Assembling a world class talent brand (candidate attraction → closing) in the most competitive talent markets

Managing teams with high standards for self and others
