The VP of People at VSCO will set the vision for our culture’s future, iterate and build the people strategy roadmap, and lead and develop a world-class people team. This person will report directly to the Co-Founder & CEO.

You will: 

Lead Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts and ensure everyone at VSCO is able to do their best work. 

Build and lead a world-class talent team of 10+ and have responsibility for ensuring a seamless implementation of global programs at the local level through relevant intervention and customization during the design phase. 

Partner with other members of the leadership team to develop, communicate, and execute a holistic People strategy. 

Create a People strategy and roadmap that will enable VSCO to accomplish its objectives and vision. 

Iterate on and lead performance review and feedback processes to drive a culture of feedback and learning. 

Advise and coach Founders and executive team while being a fierce advocate of employees 

Anticipate, forecast, and proactively develop policies and programs that drive measured impact and improved workforce performance across the business.

You are: 

Innovative and creative with the ability to be both a thought partner at the strategic level and roll up your sleeves when needed. 

A strong leader who can work autonomously. Ability to effectively influence across the exec team, board, People Leadership Team, and cross-functional stakeholder 

Business minded. Understands the VSCO business of today, but also recognizes the growth of tomorrow. 

Prioritize and care deeply about creating an environment where everybody can thrive. Employees and leaders see you as a DEI advocate, and you actively create programs where all employees can do their best work. 

Empathetic yet results-oriented. You have experience in creating impactful and compassionate teams. 

A structured, first principles leader. You have a knack for creating ongoing, principle-led programs that foster the team’s trust.

You have experience in: 

People and HR operations. Deep expertise across talent management, DEI, compensation & benefits, performance management, and leadership development. 

Creating impactful and compassionate teams with an empathetic yet results oriented focus. 

Strong analytical analysis with the ability to translate data and trends into key insights and recommendations. 

Leading teams across varied people ops roles and tech companies. 

Navigating a variety of challenging circumstances to learn and grow your perspective and resilience. 

Consumer obsessed environments and building organizations with similar qualities.
